The National One Stop Shop aims to deliver an efficient, harmonised and predictable operating environment which is essential for a vibrant health and medical research ecosystem.
The purpose of the National One Stop Shop program is to unify and streamline cross-government functions relevant to the administration
and regulation of health and medical research in Australia. The program would be underpinned by a world leading technology solution
that consolidates digital access to research services in a centralised, secure and scalable platform.
Since Budget 2024-25, the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care working with all jurisdictions via the Inter-Governmental Policy Reform Group has established program and technical teams and industry and stakeholder working groups.
Subject matter experts, communication and change management specialists have also been engaged to support further technical
work over the next six months.
During this session we will outline our engagement strategy and how your input will inform the platform design and functionality.
Details on how to register for the technical workshops will be provided during the session. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about this work and the broader reform agenda including but not limited to, the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework and the development of quality standards and accreditation scheme for human research ethics committees and their host institutions.
