Description:

This is an accessible information resource to increase people’s knowledge about cervical screening, including the option of self-collection. This resource was developed by the ScreenEqual Project, in consultation with the disability community.

About ScreenEQUAL:

People with intellectual disability are often excluded from making decisions about whether to have a Cervical Screening Test. The ScreenEQUAL Project aims to identify facilitators and barriers to participation in the National Cervical Screening Program (NCSP) among people with intellectual disability. It seeks to improve access to informed decision-making tools about cervical screening for people with intellectual disability, and to improve access and uptake.
