    Medicare Urgent Care Clinics (UCCs) give you and your family more options to see a doctor or nurse when you need care for urgent, but not life-threatening illnesses or injuries.
  • MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck

    A MedsCheck enables a patient to go to community pharmacy and discuss their medicines with a pharmacist, who advises on what the medicines do, and how to use and store them, as well as address any problems. A Diabetes MedsCheck focuses on patients with type 2 diabetes and their diabetes medicines.

    Men’s sheds are community-based, non-commercial organisations that are open to all men. Men’s sheds improve the health and wellbeing of their members by giving them a safe place to make friends, share meaningful activities, talk, and access health information and resources.

    Regional coordinators provide support to men’s sheds in each state and territory in Australia to support men’s access to health information and resources to improve their wellbeing.

    Monthly Care Statements give aged care residents a summary of the care they receive and any changes or events. This monthly update helps residents and their representatives keep a record of their care, and inform ongoing conversations with their provider.

    This program has closed to new applicants. The program provided support and training towards joining a college fellowship for doctors who are temporary or permanent residents of Australia and non vocationally recognised.
