$28 million for research into Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19

Applications are open for the 2024 Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 grant opportunity. Funding is from the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

The 2024 Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC) grant opportunity will provide up to $28 million for medical research and innovation projects that:

  • support the development of novel diagnostic or monitoring tools, or therapies for people living with PASC
  • improve the quality of care for people who have symptoms or are living with PASC. 

PASC is also known as long COVID.

This is the second grant opportunity under the $50 million MRFF PASC Research Plan. Funding is from the MRFF’s Emerging Priorities and Consumer-Driven Research initiative.
