The Australian Health Ministers’ Advisory Council (AHMAC) agreed to monitor implementation of the National Strategic Framework over the next decade. AHMAC will ensure that appropriate liaison and collaboration occurs with officials from other departments to progress cross-portfolio initiatives.
AHMAC will report to Health Ministers annually on progress in meeting the health portfolio objectives of this National Strategic Framework and will coordinate publicly available reports for Health Ministers on action within health and non-health portfolios every two years.

The 2005-2006 implementation report covers progress across portfolios. Currently the report only covers Commonwealth progress. State and Territory reports will be added when available.
